Body Composition

Quantify body composition accurately and efficiently using our EchoMRI.

  • Our MRI accurately quantifies fat and lean mass as well as free and total water mass (in grams) using nuclear magnetic resonance. Please note no image is produced.
  • Conscious mice are restrained within a plastic tube and secured with a plunger for the duration of the scan (less than 3 minutes).
  • Fresh tissues can also be measured.
