Dr. Hayley T. Nicholls Krisko, Ph.D.

Assistant Professor of Metabolism Research in Medicine

Hayley seeks to understand the regulation of mammalian energy balance and perturbations in nutrient metabolism that underlie obesity related metabolic diseases. Hayley obtained her PhD from Monash University in 2011, at the BakerIDI Heart and Diabetes Institute, Melbourne, Australia.  She undertook a postdoctoral fellowship in Jens Brüning’s Laboratory in Cologne, Germany, before joining the Cohen Laboratory at Brigham and Women’s Hospital/Harvard Medical School, Boston, MA, in 2014. In 2016, she joined the research faculty at Weill Cornell Medicine and serves as director of the MPC.
